Discover is an eight-week part-time program designed to provide basic foundational knowledge of AI for students, regardless of their experience with computer science and technology, and which serves as basic introduction to entrepreneurship delivered in the context of AIDEs. AI Discover supports participants interested in leveraging the power of AI.
This program is designed to equip participants with both entrepreneurial and practical AI skills, with 25% focused on the fundamentals of innovation and entrepreneurship, and 75% dedicated to applied AI. Participants will explore the core concepts of Generative AI, Agentic AI, and responsible AI, gaining hands-on experience with cutting-edge tools and real-world applications.
Through tailored prompt engineering activities, they will develop advanced interaction skills and discover how AI can drive innovation and entrepreneurial success. The program also offers access to advanced AI resources for those aiming to build AI-first ventures.
Cohorts run every fall; applications open in August and close in early September. Participation requires approximately 2 hours per week of synchronous programming and approximately 5 total hours per week of additional work.

AI2Market Discover is offered free of cost and is open to any post-secondary student residing in Atlantic Canada from any faculty.
