Launch equips aspiring innovators and entrepreneurs with the technical skills, AI fluency, and startup mindset needed to lead successful AI-enabled ventures. Over three transformative months, participants gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge AI tools, developing an initial business and financial model while building and testing an initial proof-of-concept which is developed using generative AI tools.
This program equally emphasizes developing entrepreneurial and AI product skills. Half of the program focuses on building robust business and financial models, covering market segmentation, beachhead markets, customer acquisition, unit economics, high-level financial planning, and go-to-market strategies. The other half is dedicated to using practical AI tools to build, test, and iterate a proof-of-concept product, incorporating user feedback to refine both the product and the business model. By the end, teams will be equipped to formally launch their ventures and understand the team structure and funding required to grow their AI-driven enterprise in an ultra-lean way.
Cohorts run every summer from late May - September; applications open in January and close in March. This program is a full-time commitment (25+ hours per week) and includes a $10,000 stipend for participants.

AI2Market Launch is offered free of cost and is open to any post-secondary student residing in Atlantic Canada from any faculty.
To be eligible teams should have conducted substantial primary market research, including at least 25 customer discovery interviews, and be able to demonstrate the market opportunity for their venture with supporting evidence.
